I have a grain truck. '48 and I want to modify the lights so I have kind of a sequential thing where first the turn signal lights go off and then the marker lights at the corners of the bed. Any direction where I can go to get the data to make it happen. Tail lights are undecided as yet.....may go original, or may go with '64 ford lights in the bed, or maybe 40 ford Chevrons. I know years ago, JC Whitney sold a thing to make turn signals sequential but that was 30 years ago (when they used to have a show)

there is an electronic version used in new mustangs,, not sure how to retro it tho,,my 67 cougar had an electric motor w/3 sets of points riding on a small cam, the cam let each set of points close in sequence-it was pretty neat,,brian

My buddy had a '71 Cougar with sequentials. They make use of a box (6" x 10" x 2"?) that mounts in the trunk. Wires go in, wires go out, lights work sequentially.

Like the late 60s Cougars, the Shelby Mustangs also had sequentials. You might not want brand F on your 'bolt, but there are probably plenty of replacement boxes for those models and could easily be used for your application. Off the top of my head, I'd try Larry's Mustang.

You would probably need some timer relays and lots of wiring.
But this turn signal on the web site is what im going to do eventually.

Some chevy trucks in the 70,s had a system like I think you are referring to on the front. They used an insulated marker light on the side & the turn sinal grounded through it. When the turn light went out the marker light came on & they alternated.
