Anyone with any experience with this swap please provide some feedback...Yah or Nah?? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 | It's been done. You will need to fab or buy body mounts. Lots of info on the web.

They also make aftermarket kits to bolt in a 350 onto the S10 frame...if you should desire to go that route. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,596 | Search in the Hi-po shop as well as my previous posts. This question has been asked and answered here many times. The mounting kits are expensive, and IMO get the body too high off the frame. It depends what finished look you're looking for though. It's not difficult to fab your own body mounts using the Stock S-10 mounts in different locations, as long as you have some fabrication skills. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2013 Posts: 56 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2013 Posts: 56 | He guys, and gals, could someone tell me where to find info on frame manufacturers and cab and chassis parts? I for some reason am having no luck finding info. I am looking for a complete frame to build a 1940 series AD truck, and want to take my time studying and getting good advice on the stove bolt site to do it. Thanks Pat.

Check TCI and similar companies. I can't think of others off the top of my head. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 324 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 324 | | | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 324 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 324 | | | |
