I have heard that swaping the S-10 chasis out on the 53 chevy is a pretty good fit. Anyone with any experience with this swap please provide some feedback...Yah or Nah??

It's been done. You will need to fab or buy body mounts.
Lots of info on the web.

There are sites/companies that make "bolt-on" mounting kits to adapt the old cab onto the newer S10 frame...have not used any myself, so better you search instead of me providing links.

They also make aftermarket kits to bolt in a 350 onto the S10 frame...if you should desire to go that route.

Search in the Hi-po shop as well as my previous posts. This question has been asked and answered here many times. The mounting kits are expensive, and IMO get the body too high off the frame. It depends what finished look you're looking for though. It's not difficult to fab your own body mounts using the Stock S-10 mounts in different locations, as long as you have some fabrication skills.

He guys, and gals, could someone tell me where to find info on frame manufacturers and cab and chassis parts? I for some reason am having no luck finding info. I am looking for a complete frame to build a 1940 series AD truck, and want to take my time studying and getting good advice on the stove bolt site to do it. Thanks Pat.

You might want to start a new thread instead of piggybacking on a completely different topic. Check TCI and similar companies. I can't think of others off the top of my head.
