I bent the end tab slightly to give it less tension and now it opens fully after about 10 minutes with the engine running and stays open until the engine cools down. It then closes.

But it will not stay open even when really warm.
When I pull the throttle I can see it opens but then it closes again. Bad spring ?
I have a new spring so I think I will change it.
Just have to be careful not braking the clamps holding the spring and then remember the position so it points the correct way.
1/2 of a turn to tighten the spring as I remember?
