Does anyone make a repair panel for these, if not what is the best way to deal with this? Im sure this is quite common by the looks of it. Thanks Scott

| | | | | Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 170 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 170 | After much searching I discovered that I was not using the correct nomenclature, and the hand drawn pictures in my Jim Carter catalog did not depict them well enough. The pieces that I need are called, lower cowl repair panels. Wheelwright Restorations makes them, and Jim Carter sells them. I hope this information is helpful to anyone needing to deal with this problem, and am suprised that nobody responded to this post, as I am sure that this is a common problem. Jim Carter shows them for 41-46 only. I guess I'll call them and see if they fit the '40 too. Seems like they would.
