In todays market the pool of buyers for a resto-rodded truck increases daily, while the appeal of bone stock original trucks declines every day as more and more of us older fellas pass on. It's been my ex[erience that only the ultra original survivors, the high end stock restorations or the totally modified touring trucks (modern drivelines) bring the high dollars. But it's all good, just depends on what trips YOUR trigger. If your plan calls for freeway driving at speeds of 65 mph then you'll need to modify the truck.
