I found a reared from an 87 S-10 4x4 with 3:73 gears. However, I thought this rear was a bolt in but the pads on the rearend don't match up with the rear springs on my truck. But if for sure the pads are not correct, then you will have to remove them and reweld in the correct position, with attention to proper pinion angle.

Still looking for an LCF or conventional big bolt in decent shape.

You can buy these from a number of different suppliers. If you look in the Tech Tips section there is an article on setting up the driveline. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 420 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 420 | you need to change the spring perches jc whitney sells the 1 3/4 spring perches you need to install that rear, I have a s-10 rear in my 46 1/2ton and I used the jc whitney perches,also, you need to get the s-10 plates for the bottom of the springs because they have the lower shock mounts on them, you'll also have to redrill them and get new u bolts, i have pics of my install ..click on the link below
