I have a 46 Suburban with the clam shell rear door configuration. The flip up top half has been fitted with a pair of large exterior hinges that are drilled through the roof. The original slots for the original hinges are still intact and I was wanting to use them once again. are all the 47 hinges the same for all the rear door assemblies, or are these two hinges unique in someway? Thanks in advance.

I was under the impression that the 46 hinges were different.

I can get you the part numbers for the 46 hinges if you need them. They are stamped on the back of the attaching plate.
