Any recommendations on the best book on assembling a 292?

This will be the first engine I've put back together.

I went shopping on EBay until I found a GM manual for the year truck my engine came from.

Most any GM manual from 66 to 78 should have a inline in it. My '73 Pontiac manual has the 250 in it since they used the Chevy engine. 250 and 292 will have the same assembly information.

Not an assembly manual, but depending on your intentions a good read, Leo Santucci's Inline Six Cyli8nder Power manual.
