#95147 03/19/2006 12:54 AM | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 324 Member | | Member Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 324 | just need to vent. spent 2 hours with generators this fine sat. a little tapping and prying got both pullys off. the bad gen droped the key with a poke of a screw driver. the gen i plan to use with my original pully, i can't get the key out of the armature shaft. finally gave it a rest and plan to maybe dril some small holes to hope to weeken the key enough. am not sure i waht to heat around the bearing on the gen. arr!
