I have been posting in other places around the forums but not here of late.
Since my truck's update is now in the Gallery, I'll keep track of more "doings" on the truck here so folks can check back in if they are interested.
My ride, pretty much a daily driver, is a 49 Chev. 3100 which I purchased from a guy several years ago. It looked nice but sure had some issues and has taken me, and my checkbook, a few years to get it to it's present state.
Paint is OEM color combo with Green and Black fenders... I like that better now than I once did. I have tried to keep it as stock looking as possible but added things for safety and drivability.
It has a 235 from a '57 car so is high pressure oiler, dual two bbl progressive Weber carbs and converted Oil Bath air cleaners. I will be trying to back date the engine compartment more soon. Paint was restored a few months ago and door sign painted on. It is to honor my long deceased Uncle who was a cattle rancher in Salinas.
