I found this old Sun Tach. I'm not sure if it'll work for me, though.

It's one of the old one piece units that is for a 6 cylinder engine, but the voltage on the rear label says "MAG" (I think). There's a hook up for a wire from the distributor and a hookup going to ground.

Does the MAG mean Magneto?

Will it work on a 6v points ignition?

Any information would be appreciated.

Sounds like a magneto tach. Stick it on eBay and buy one there for a distributor.
