First posted 'dead truck' and replaced battery, alternator, voltage reg, and brand new alt. wiring harness, along with instrument cluster harness. Now i have no tail lights and only a faint rt signal and no lt signal. Replaced the tail light harness and still no luck. What the hell?

I seriously wire brushed a spot on the frame and on the bed of my truck and put a battery ground strap there, then sprayed it with battery terminal protector. A good ground on your taillight pots won't help if the bed isn't grounded. Like Bill has said, most taillight, turn signal and stoplight problems can be traced to a bad ground somewhere. Speed | | |
