I bought a new internally regulated alternator for the 230ci engine I'm getting ready to put in my '63 Fleetside and when I put it on the stock mounting bracket it doesn't line up with the balancer and water pump.

Any suggestions? Can I get another pully?

you need the later bracket that bolts to the block, not sure but I think 68-72 will work. brian

I had a like problem, I had to go back the next day and get my pulley off the old alt,,, that did it..Fred

sorry I did not read close enough, thought you were replacing previous alt,,, as stated, you will probably need new brackets...

i had to make a bracket to offset the new 10SI alt on my bolt. the bracket moves the stock alt bracket forward by (x) . It's 1/2'' thick, 1-1/2''x 5'', two through holes and two threaded holes. although I'm running a 292 it's all the same

My alternator has a dual pulley, only the furthest one out is being used the inner one is open.
