on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2012 Posts: 94 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2012 Posts: 94 | Worked of 53 for a while today. Trying to get her road ready and use 216 for a while. Block is cracked on drivers side rear, and has older jb weld fix. I wanted to grind all that mess off and redo. So, when I removed that little 3" copper tube on lower drivers side, presto, I broke it. After reading a lot here, I see I can replace the line. Heres the question. I removed rocker cover and loosed/took off the supply from the rocker tube. Thought I could pull it thru, but not. Do I have to remove distributor and side cover on pass side to? I've read it might be bent around inside the side cover. Or, do I just yank it out? On a good note, I ground down area nice for new fix. Many thanks as always...

The regular version of JB (the best in my opinion) has a psi strenght of 3960 and can take heat to 550. Its importand to mix 50/50. I did 4 applications, 24 hrs between each. After mixing, I let stand for about 30 minutes, then applied. Its on the road as of Memorial Day. Took three trips, and drove it to work today. Here's the beaut of it. No drips, anywhere now. No coolant, oil, trans fluid, rear end, nothing. Very pleased so far. I really only wanted to fix 216 temp till 235 is done, howwever, I love it!
