Found a rusted 65 K20 today but the guy is asking $4500. It runs but a hefty tune up is in order. Frame is ok but the interior is ripped up and some cracked glass. Overall I would say it is a complete restorable, not a parts vehicle and not even close to a driver. Anyway my son loves these and I was thinking about it for him. It just seems like the true value may be south of $2500. I know values are what it's worth to the individual on these things but I'd like to know what other $$ folks have run across recently on these things.

Post some pictures, then you will have a fair chance of some opinions. Its hard to talk numbers without seeing it.

Yeah I know but I didn't have the camera with me. It's your typical rust belt truck in need of hearty sheet metal replacement/work. A rough running yard driver without brakes.
