Under the carbs on each is an insulator, that is cracking on most all of them. I know the resto shops carry them, but surely there is a factory part number I could find something local (at a napa or something) this weekend? anyone got a part number? LMC lists them as 32-3912, ecklers lists them as 129207, but somewhere there must be a factory part number, would seem these commonly need replacing due to cracking/vacuum leaks??? trying to get a truck going this weekend if I can, most chain stores can order and get in a day or so if you have part number | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 396 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 396 | If all else fails, Install the carb with a carb to intake gasket and get your engine started. Just initial start-up will not be affected at this point. Install the insulator at a later date when you get ahold of one.
