Are the bolt holes correct, and is the off-set correct? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | I think you will have better luck looking for 16" wheels. Lots of choices there, easy fit possible on the back axle, front is a different story. backspace on most modern wheels will not clear the tie-rod ends. Research the topic here, you will find numerous posts if you search on this topic. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 47 1949 Beast | | 1949 Beast Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 47 | any idea which 16 inch newer style will work? I am trying to get black stock like wheels and put on 16 inch tubeless tires | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | My wheels are off a 1991 3/4-ton Suburban so any similar year 8-lug Chevy wheel should fit. I also think people have posted that 8-lug Ford and Dodge wheels will fit as well. I don't know on those personally. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 1,775 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 1,775 | The later model Chevy rims may not work. They have too much offset, same goes for the Dodge. They would be o.k. on back, but on front they'd hit the tie rod. Your best bet is from Ford E250/E350.
Dexstar Trailer wheels are a good option also.
