Would it be best to also use there coil for 12V or is there a different coil I should go with. Also, I'm not that familur with how it is wired up with a resistor or with out? Which way is best?

I used a salvage 12 volt coil with a new resister. It starts instantly. The intruction sheet tells you how to wire it. I ran the original wire to the coil to the resister & a wire from the resister to the coil & wired the petronics acording to the intruction sheet. This does not provide a resistor bypass but i don,t think we are going to need it. The reluctor that came with the kit did not fit tight on the dist. shaft so I called & they sent one that did. I am very pleased with it.
