It actually hits the antenna first, but after removing that, it still rests against the wipers. Not sure if I need new hood hinges or if there is a way to adjust the stop point..

As the hood sits correctly when closed, I assumed that there might be way to limit the opening while up. As if I move it forward to gain clearance, I think it might have an "overbite"..
