What gauge wire should I use from the coil to the distributor?
What gauge wire should I use from the coil to the ignition switch?
Thanks in advance.

If you are just making a repair, here's a wiring diagram with the wire gauge on it... Its for a 55, but should answer your question... Hope this helps and welcome to the forum wiring diagram

DMG is correct a new harness like this is what I bought. http://www.classicparts.com/1950-52-Wiring-Harness-Generator/productinfo/52%2D023/#.UW93ycu9KSM
Makes a big difference when everything works reliably.
