When I took off the wiper valence. I noticed the headliner had a sheet of tar paper on top of it?, Could this be factory?, For those who have'nt looked at my truck, it is a untouched original, But in 71 yrs who knows?. Has anyone else experienced or seen this? Thanks, Mike. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | Yes it is factory, used to reduce the drum type sound effect you get in these trucks at normal speeds. You will find similar in the AD's, not sure if it is present in the TF trucks.
