He is tearing down a chromeing place that has been in business for 30+ years. Being a 52 chrome front bumper is suspect, but has anybody seen a bumper stamped Chevrolet? His whole story seems a little off, but he will give me the bumper. Nope - first time I have heard of it for 47-55 (neither a GM original bumper nor an after market bumper).

However the neighbor made it sound like it was stamped on the front surface. As I mentioned in my first post he is tearing down a place that did chromeing. So it is possible it is a custom piece.
