KEY WONT START, CRANK MY TRUCK. I HAVE 12 V TO THE IGNITION SWITCH BUT ONLY HAVE 4.5 V TO THE STARER SOLENOID WHEN I TURN THE KEY TO START. ANY IDEAS?

Try jumping from the s term. on the selinoid to the bat. cable term. If it works then the problem is in the switch or connections. Stuart is probably right.

a high resistance in a connection, check any connectors and the bat posts for corrosion
