Was it in the passenger side cowl below the windshield or the passeger side fender. I have holes in each and need to patch one of them! I am thinking the cowl is correct but want to be positive!

The antenna I got From fleabay had a template that looked like a photocopy. AFTER drilling I found the hole was behind the inner fender support not in front. Had it not been for some creativity and a Karmann Ghia antenna base I would have been in for some body and paint work. I ended up with a parts store top mount antenna with the Ghia angled chrome base. Looks fine but what a panic. | | | | Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 1,329 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 1,329 | You need the accessories installation manual, I think it gives all the dimensions etc. It goes in the rh front fender and has bracketry that attaches to the plenum/cowl on that side. I'm going to try to figure out some other place for mine when I get one, or some other kind of antenna.
Kicking self for selling off my Taskforce trucks. Still looking for an LCF or conventional big bolt in decent shape.
As of 10-26-2022, A 55.2 Taskforce long bed now the work begins

There is a slot in the cab for it to slide between cab and fender. | | |
