Whatever your engines displacement, what is displaced above the pistons also is displaced below the pistons. I am putting in a 350 crate engine,from my 283, so I will be running a PCV from the carb to the valve cover, but I still was going to run the oil fill tube in the intake with the breather cap, to try and look a little period correct. The road draft tube is going in the trash.
