i would like to put a stock interior rear view mirror in my 55. does anyone know the length and height of the original factory/dealer installed mirror? and idea which vendor to buy from? thanks, jim

I think you'll find the 'length and height' of the repros are as original, and that all the vendors carry the same item from the single Chinese maker wink

Here is the installation sheet for the 54/55st interior rear-view mirror.

It shows the day-night mirror head (there was also a standard mirror head).

I can not see the link posted by Tim. I have a '55 1st series. The truck has a stock seat. Ordered a standard mirror and mirror mount base. The mirror mount base seems to be to short. It works but it seems to not line up with the rear window.
