I have a painted front bumper on my '65 and I have a set of chrome bumper guards that I would like to use. I am wondering if bumper guards were ever manufactured in white to match the bumper or were they always chrome. I know I can paint them but is that common practice?

Very nice looking '65.I live at the other end of Mass. and have a '46 2-ton. I always have liked the '60-'66 GM trucks.

Thank you Ed. I have made some improvements and need to update the photos but the truck is alot of fun. My wife and I enjoy it. I would like to see pictures of your '46 if you are planning on posting some.

Thanks Joe, then I guess it wouldn't look weird to paint them white.

Thanks Hot Rod. Hey Cape, I received your e-mail and I will let you know what I come up with. Thanks for inquiry.

The front bumper & bumper guards, were available in Off-White, to match, from the factory, so you are in luck.
