#92658 08/16/2005 4:38 AM | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 153 Member | | Member Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 153 | i have the kind of temp gauge that has a solid piece of copper wire running from the sensor in the manifold to the meter. i assume the copper wire transfers heat or something. the gauge won't move unless i tap the sensor, then it moves to register 180 when the engine is warm. the gauge is new, at least i just bought it a few months back at a large antique parts store.
is there anything to fixing these things or do i have to buy another one?
