The one it came with is not original plus the thing wouldn't hold water if I put it in. The truck has a 228 GMC engine. My question is this: Does anyone either have a good original radiator that they want to sell or can you recommend a good shop on the west coast that I can get one from. I want to go back to as close to original as possible. Any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Filling Station has been my primary focus lately so I might just bite the bullet and have their vendor make on for me and save a couple hundred $$. I just don't know if these radiators are still out there and available from someone who upgraded during their resto. I'll take your advice though and hit up the Parts Wanted section before I pull the trigger on a new one. Thanks again.

The GMC radiators were different from the chevy radiators of the same years. The GMC radiator has a "Funky" fill/ pressure elbow that pushes the outlet past the front top core support. | | |
