Oil appears to be moving from the transmission down the torque tube, and then out the wheel/axle. The only vent that I can see is on the torque tube, and I suppose it could be blocked. Is that vent threaded into the torque tube, and should I add a vent to the differential or rear axle housing??

I believe the vent is threaded in on a 39.

If, however, the vent is plugged, that may exacerbate the problem. To the best of my memory (not always so good), I did replace the seal in the torque tube. I'm not very enthused about having to do it again, but...
