...........does anybody know where a chart of the available S10 4X4 diff ratios is ? It'll save me looking through 40 pages of driveline posts.

One of those axle codes will be on the sticker on the inside of the glovebox door. Disc brake rears started in 1998.

In addition, what year S10? There are at least 3 different rear axles used in the S10 4x4 depending on year/model, the 7.5" and 7.625" 10 bolts, and a modified version of the 8.5" 10 bolt from the full size truck (ZR2 package). The 7.625 is the most common, and it and the 8.5 were also available with disk brakes after '98 as Curt pointed out. The 8.5 axle is also wider than the others, by about 2".
