getting ready to fire 216 rebuilt motor primed oil pump set valves .003 more than specs drilled 1/8 hole in thermostat set timing at tdc going to fire this thing without any body other than radiator shroud and radiator plugged oil press and temp on jackstands full roller without body any tips want get chassis complete before installing 51 chev pu body all parts are coupled engine trans rear tahnks for all your help

I would make sure the clutch linkage is connected or put a spring on the clutch fork so the through out bearing isn't flopping around loose. What are you using for a gas tank? An gas can with a hose stuck in it can be dangerous....

using a small engine gas tank approx 1 gal with gas line fittings and clamps
