Kicking self for selling off my Taskforce trucks. Still looking for an LCF or conventional big bolt in decent shape.

Sounds good, and cheap too | | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,962 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,962 | Back when we pulled flatbeds with wood floors, we mopped them with linseed oil on a hot day. I have heard of drain oil but we put wood side boards on the trailers and back hauled food grade grain and the oil stays oily forever. We only mopped the top of the wood because the moisture was to be allowed to escape out the bottom. Our flatbeds now have aluminum with apitong nailing strips which require no sealer. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 843 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 843 | a water repellent wood preservative would be good too.It looks as if you have used pressure-treated wood.Varnish won't "key"into that very well. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 166 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 166 | Thanks for suggestions yall.
