For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 54 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 54 | I was wondering if anyone had ordered any parts from this site: http://www.andysautosport.com/chevrolet/1955_1959_task_force/ I'm mostly interested in any opinions regarding the quality of the replacement fenders or other body parts for the Task Force series. I did a quick search and couldn't find any references to this company, and I didn't find it listed in the links section.

Andys claims to sell stuff from Key Parts, who are a wholesaler that supplies a lot of the vendors .... I'd suggest finding the closest supplier to save on shipping, might even check with NAPA and see what they list .... AFAIK the TF fenders available anyplace are all from one maker [Dynacorn] and good quality and fit, doors too Bill | | | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 54 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 54 | I didn't have any particular reason. Last time I tried looking (several years ago) I wasn't able to find any repop steel front fenders, only fiberglass. My right front is a junkyard find I had to use for a replacement after a wreck several years ago, and it's mostly bondo and rust. I'll check out some of those other sources. Thanks for the reply. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | yes, the TF fenders are somewhat recent, 5-7 being the first, followed by 8-9, but I think everyone lists them now

It is a place where old Chevy & GMC truck enthusiasts discuss bad service, delayed shipping, useless parts and raw deals…. as well as good service, fast shipment, amazing parts and great deals! They review on the board parts board transactions, vendors sites(like the ones listed here) and eBay action. They started out as a 67-72 site, but now they have forums that cover all years and all types of full size Chevy/GMC trucks. They also now have a sub-forum for the S series and Luv trucks. ---- other vendors to explore : The Chevrolet & GMC Truck Parts Vendors List I think most of these are on the 'bolts list now... but may be a few that are not. -W | | |
