The kinked hose is rather unsightly.

I have done what Frank50 describes - this is cheaper than buying pipe plugs.

I reread the post, Bill. I think you are right about the V.
I would have bought brass or stainless plugs.

Other options? Thanks! Any good NAPA store will have pic & dimentions of molded heater hose, may have to cut excess off but should be able to come close on the bend.
