Very Cool. This explanation of Chevy's "4-way" oiling system (even though it is not called that here) is very logical and scientific. Even though most other car manufacturers went to "full-pressure" lubrication you can kinda' see why Chevy stuck with their system as long as they did.
I kinda think GM stuck with that system because it did well enough on cheap consumer goods, so no reason to make the major investment in updating to better
