Started on my frame couple weeks ago. Had a couple little holes I had to weld up but nothing major. Frame was from texas and has that texas rust I call it. You know from setting out for all those years. All the guys at work tell me just wire brush it and put the chassis saver to it. It's going to be a daily driver and not a show queen. Wire brush and paint would be good? Also spray or brush? They tell me the overspray from the saver will go everywhere! Thanks Termite53!

I wire brushed mine (mostly power) and then brushed on a KBS produced coating. Brush means no wasted product, most of these are hard to get off of other surfaces (like your skin) so if you spray it I would advise thinking about that when you set things up.

Been there in when I first got mine. A Chassi is the only place for Chassi Saver and it wants some of that rust to hold onto. Don't get to smooth and fancy with your prep. Better concentrate on getting rid of dirt and grease. After your wire brush and or sanding, brush or roll it on and don't be skimpy go for the build.

DON'T use it anywhere your going to have real paint down the road. It won't feather for... Shoot what's that word?
It peels off in sheets from smooth new metal also... it's kind of a one trick pony to my mind. An expensive trick. Especially if you get it in your lungs.
A screw in the lid helps for multiple use and it's better to buy quarts than a gal.
But epoxy primer is my preference.
