Hook the left lights to one one terminal and the right to the other on terminal. Power is normally hooked to the center terminal. You can mount the switch on the bottom side of the dash within easy reach where it won't even be noticable. No hill for a climber!

I had already installed a wiring harness from Chevy Duty, which includes all the turn signal wiring other than the switch. Very simple installation. If you haven't converted your parklamps and tail lamps to accept a dual filament bulb, you may want to consider it as it makes a very neat installation.
The switch is chrome plated relatively small and looks right at home on the AD steering column. | | |
#91705 12/05/2003 3:25 AM | Joined: May 2003 Posts: 224 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2003 Posts: 224 | thanks for the info guys, i as well have contimplated the 3 toggle switch, however, how would you get the whole flash thing into the wiring of it. my flash is a 550, so has 3 points. from my little electrical experiements, ive noticed that two of the three are interconnected, meaning power will go into one the the points and then out the other, what ever that means. anyways, a little confused on the wiring for that but anyone able to hook me up with a good explanation? | | |

O.K. hear goes; power should be attaced to the post on the flasher that is not interconnected. The two post that are together; one should go to your turn signal switch and the other goes to you emegency fasher switch. If you hook it up this way and you see smoke, I didn't have anything to do with it.
