With the switch in the off position the transmission is in OD. With it in the on position the OD is not functional just like it would be with a governor. Correct?
How to wire for a light to let me know when it is engaged? A friend suggested a relay. Anybody with an explanation, schematic, etc.? I am for sure not an electrical guru, but am definitely old and forgetful and need all the help I can get to remember to hit the switch. | | |

When I have the solenoid activated for OD, the switch is on. I did just as Squeeze suggests, I found a neat looking 12v indicator light that I wired to the switch. When the switch is on & power is applied to the solenoid, the the light illuminates. | | |

Used a switch that lights up when the od is engaged. My problem is the speedometer doesn't work now. The cable is o.k. so where do I go from here? I have a tach on it do I just estimate my speed with it? Hate to pull the trans as that sucker is heavy!!
