I know that I was able to repair my gauge, it was fried and I replaced the fine resistor wire and now it works fine. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 775 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 775 | Jim Carters repairs them. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 | Leo, could you fill us in a little more on what you did to repair your gauge? Did you take any pictures? Denny Graham Sandwich, IL The gas gauge has two very fine copper wires, about as thick as a 5 amp fuse. One was fried and I simply soldered another one in place. The replacement wire was a single strand of a copper braided wire. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 50 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 50 | | | |
