I bought some of the generic insulation/sound deadener from LMC truck, its the stuff with a heavy foil backing and a felt pad on the other side. I'm hoping to quiet down the cab a little, after I put it all back together its still bare steel, a little noisy on the highway!

Anyway, I'm not sure which side goes against the metal. Foil side or felt side? Anybody know?

Thanks

Felt will absorb and hold moisture. Be sure the metal is well sealed.

I used heat shield & sound deadener brand part #25070 on my panel. The instructions say installing in engine compartment & floor boards aluminum foil is always towards heat.
