I'm hoping to quiet down the cab a little, after I put it all back together its still bare steel, a little noisy on the highway!
Anyway, I'm not sure which side goes against the metal. Foil side or felt side? Anybody know?

Felt will absorb and hold moisture. Be sure the metal is well sealed.
