No matter, I continued to cruise, and after five minutes went by the oil pressure and gas guage lights went out. No matter, I still had my speedo light so I kept cruisin, and after another five minutes they went out as well.
My 54 3100's PO had partially converted all to 12 volts, and when I got her I finished the job. Do I have a major problem with the dash lights wiring or does this sound like I just popped some 6 volt bulbs??

Sounds like cruel and unusual punishment to a lot of 6v bults. Hope you put a Runtz resister on the power lead to your fuel gauge.
Check your brake and tail lights (unless you changed them to 12v already). You must have changed the headlights to 12v, if not, it will be just a matter of time.
