For the years 58 and 59, is there a map showing the various locations of these bolts?

no need for a 'map', there's not many [and they're screws, not bolts ] - there's 2 in the middle of the door holding the vent/division bar, and the ones holding stepside fenders, others are phillips head by 58

The clutch head [step side] rear fender bolts are available from a variety of vendors in stainless steel and in zinc plated steel (with the nuts that match the bolts, and with various washers).

I don't know about anyone else, but about the only phillips head I found on my 58 was holding the interior door panels onto the door, the phillips head screws holding my speedometer cluster in and perhaps a couple of phillips head screws in the glove compartment.

Tons of clutch head screws everywhere on my 58 1/2. All sorts of sizes.

Roy - the 2 locations I mentioned are the only ones on my 58, and aside from the phillips you listed plus those that hold the upper window garnish, the dash-windshield garnish, the seal retainer on the door bottom, the interior light, and the heater case, I can't think of where you'd find "tons" of screws of any type .... oh, one place I forgot, the lower window sash channels are held with stubby clutch heads - but I imagine there was variation among the different plants, as by the 60's there was a transition away from the clutch heads

People have reported finding clutch-head and phillips-head hardware on things like door latch/catch parts for same year USA made A-D/ND GM trucks; and, they have attributed this to different factories using different hardware, and to factories using whatever was on hand.

Could be a factory issue on what they had handy at the time. My truck has very few Phillips head screws, and lots of clutch head screws.

The door striker plate, the window retaining screws, the rear fender bolts. Front fenders have regular bolts holding everything together.

The screws that hold the glove box hing and lid are clutch head.

So it may depend on what the factory had at the time of the build.

Either way, I still enjoy my old truck.

I have clutch-head screws in the door-latches on my T.F.'55. The doors needed to be adjusted,and i found the bits in a "security-tool" kit,at Harbor Freight. The kit consists of 36 pieces,only three of which are clutch-head,but the sizes included
with this kit,are the sizes used on my '55. for the price of the kit,I believe it's a good investment. Hope this helps.

There were tons on my '59 until recently. I hate those things. All swapped out or removed completely now. Last two left were holding the jack mount in the cab. When I put it back I will use phillips.

I understand the point of restoration and such. But I look at it this way, I'm broke down in the middle of nowhere and I forgot my tool bag. Would I have better results when I ask "Do you have a clutch head screwdriver I can borrow?" or "Do you have a Phillips screwdriver I can borrow?"

A proper size regular screw driver works fine in a clutch head.
