With all the additions to the Southern Btovebolters we are currently in the planning stages for 2013.
Its looking like we may have multiple gabfest for next year including Tenn, N.C. and Ga. This way NO ONE will be left out in the Southern regions and close enough that you should be able to make at least one of them.
Looking at April, mid summer, early fall.

Keep watch here, and for some of you guys in Tenn/Va that I may not have on my list be sure to tune in here.

More details as they become available and "cut in stone".

Hi,
Is there a chance that you could put me on your "list" When you get a schedule made. I have a 54 3100 , almost done and a 54 5100 COE waiting on the shelf.
I would appreciate it.

John, I'll be happy to put you on my list. There is also a bolter down your way that did a gathering this year....somewhere around Sanford?.....read it the other day. I'm sure we'll figure out something.

Hi Alvin,
I'm the Stovebolter....somewhere around Sanford....Put me on your list also. It might make a road trip for me and a couple others here in Florida.
Thanks,

It looks like our first GabFest of 2013 may be in Tenn. Will post for sure after the first of the year.

...I haven't been to Charlotte in a few years. But I'm not opposed to it!! I'm about 80 miles from there and could drive up. The main problem may be finding a place to "gather". Its a madhouse the last time I was there. If someone is close and could get a gathering place I'd be tickled to drive up......

GabFest: Where two or more bolters get together and gab smile

RadRods, Anytime you want to have a get to together all you have to do is just post it and see who shows up!!
It can be any of the ones you mentioned. A type of cookout, or meet at a resturant and greet and eat ect ect. Stovebolters are not choosey as long as they can talk trucks.

Its great to have these gabfest in several places each year. Not everyone can drive the long distances and there are quiet a few bolters with in range.

Sometimes we just have to do it.

I have spaces in the Blue Field for Auto Fair but don't bring much anymore - too much work to load up and bring it back home. Mostly just go to socialize and pick up parts. Lots of places to meet convenient to the speedway.

Can you add me to the list as well. I am in Nashville and would love to try to come to the one in TN if I can get off of work.
