Well....seeing as its a Sunday, how about coming anytime after 1:00 pm, and figure " dinner " around 4:00 ??? . Anyone still hanging around after 7:30 will be escorted to the door.
As to menu, lets get closer to the day before we worry about details.

Hy Guys, now stop whacking each other! I think I know what Bruce is doing, he's trying to entice some more people into our group. We all know by this forum that there are a lot more people in this area than have responded to Bruces invitation. Come on people, nobody that I know in our group that have already responded bites, personally I think they're a great group. We will bring Naniamo bars (although I don't know why) and a turnup puff. I know it's way too early, but Merry Christmas everyone!

You don't know why you're bringing Naniamo bars? Have you forgotten Davey nearly jumping over Bruce's 2nd floor balcony when you left before he got some 2 years ago? That's why! grin

We'll bring a massive double decker shrimp ring with seafood sauce and probably some melt in your mouth shortbread as well... assuming I get them made in time... 20 dozen to make again this year!!! wink

Teamsters Trucks.
Did the Teamsters trucks ever find a home in Cloverdale? I can't find much definitive information on where they are on the web.

Well I am having to bow out for this one. My daugther has a thing on Sunday and I was invited. I would be a pretty bad dad if I didn't go. Maybe even shunned!
It's in the morning but sounds like it could go on for a while so instead of seating watching the time, I might as well say I can't be at Bruce's and relax during her thing.
Sorry Bruce, I was looking forward to the potluck.
Hope it goes well and everyone enjoys themselves.

We have our Cocker Spaniel Rescue group at 11:30 that same morning in Vancouver so I'd be willing to bet we're gonna be at least an hour or hour and a half late to your place, Bruce... we'll do our best to get there as early as we can though... hopefully see everyone by 2 or 2:30 at latest... smile

Hy guys, well another great event for the B.C. Stovebolters, thanks Bruce (britcon) and Tammy for hosting. It looks like Boyd (BC52) is recovering nicely from his surgery. It was good to see everyone again and catch up with everyone. Good friends, good food, good times, I hope some more of the B.C. Bolters join us in some activities next year. Thanks again Bruce and Tammy for hosting!

Yep, Ditto. And it didn't snow much this year. Bruce, I'll put a good word for you in the Maple Ridge Building Department.... wait I don't have any pull there. Never mind. Trev... look for your snowman down at the Vancouver flea market. I heard you can find all sorts of stuff there. Good to see everyone. One day my truck will be done. I am sure. Although what's the sense of dreaming if the world is going to end in 5 days?

As a matter of fact, yes I can Boyd... thank you for asking... wink

No worries I am going to pick up a few of these old school snowmen and santas that everyone is giving away next spring cleanup and figure out a few ways to boobie trap them over the summer...

I have to decide if I want to fry or just blow up the 'grinch' who tries to steal Christmas next winter when he comes back...

If I choose the former he might end up with his 'chestnuts roasting on an open fire' or if I go with the latter and use too much black powder he might end up passing Santa's airborn sleigh in the stratosphere just before achieving orbit... such a shame! wink

As for our meet, thanks Bruce and Tammy for hosting this Christmas get together... great meal and great to see everyone again... Merry Christmas! smile
