Any suggestions for a source of replacements .Or is there a good way to mount modern shocks with the stock axle ?

Or is there a good way to mount modern shocks with the stock axle ? Yes. You can fab shock mounts and/or I believe one or more of the vendors sells conversion kits (Jim Carter??) I converted my '38 coupe to tube shocks in the front using '39 straight axle mounts.
