Hi, I'm new to this and am looking at a 54 5 window 3100 that has a 53 style grill. Did any early 54's come with this grill? Look forward to working on a truck for once. Thanks.

Not that I have seen. Does it have a one piece windshield?

What is the vehicle serial number? The code on the metal plate on the cab between the driver's side hinges.

Earlier fenders and grille will fit a '54. I imagine it was installed as a replacement. I highly doubt it left the factory that way.

Ok, serial number is H54K011875. A rare find or someone liked the older grill? I'm guessing latter.

No.

1st series 55s were 54 body style but that is as close as it gets.
