I started having issues with it last summer and want to go with a two wire. I can get the alternator converted to a two wire but I'm not sure how to connect it. The one wire connection is easy. I know I'll have to get the proper plug but where do I connect the wires from the plug to my harness? My harness is a new cloth covered harness from YNZ to accept a generator. I don't want to butcher it to connect the two wire alternator. I (or my son when he gets the car) may want to return to the generator sometime in the future.

A one wire (self exciting) has worked OK but since I'm getting it rebuilt I'm just considering my options. I'm waiting for some feedback from the rebuilder before making a decision.
